Rev limiter at 9000...can this be???
Thanks! Does using one void the warranty or anything? It sounds like that might make it easier to blow the engine? Although, I guess that unless you mis-shifted, which would damage the engine under certain circumstances anyway, you're not going to make it overrev. Am I understanding that right? Does anyone even understand what i'm saying? Whatever. Thanks for your help!!
Just to clarify...I wasn't complaining about it cutting out at 9000...I was just surprised because I thought it was everyone's understanding that it was 9200 and it's not... I just wanted to point it out. But yes the tach is wayyyyyyyy off...It hit's 9000 and then the tach flashes red for like 1 second and then it hits the limiter...you would think I was at like 9500 or something...
Guess it's just off by that much...I don't shift using the tach on the dash anymore...I just use the one on the VAFC.
