Default RI Mechanic advice

After spending almost a year looking I found the GPW with tan that I wanted and made the purchase. It's in my garage now waiting for spring. Almost all of the 75k miles were put on during the cars first 5 years, then the owner only drove a few hundred miles since then (1 owner car). The car was taken care of religiously at Honda but seeing it had sat covered for most of the last 10 years I was thinking it should get a good once over. Car runs good, engine spotless, brake fluid clean, the shifter a bit notchy - I'm thinking lack of use. Engine does vibrate a bit at idle (is this normal?) Does anyone have any mechanic recommendations for me to take the car in the RI/MA/CT area or should I deal with the fun at the dealership?

If you can make the trip, I'd take it to Billman in NY for a once over.

Best, most knowledgeable, most experienced S2000 mechanic on this or any other planet is closer to you than you realize.

Look out across the water, you can see Billmans house. He is directly across the Sound from you.

I second Billman!! He helped me with the timing chain tensioner conversion and the valve adjustment for my 07 GPW.
Enjoy the curves!!

Awesome thanks - it is a bit of a trip but it could be a good first adventure with it.
