Yep, just finished up and took it for a quick ride around the neighborhood. I like it! It sounds mean coupled with my T1R. I wasn't able to really get on it much, but it feels like there is a little more punch on the bottom end. It seems like the off/on throttle response has improved. It did have a little trouble idling at first but after the drive that is not as bad. All in all I really happy with it so far

Install notes: I did almost all of it by myself. I had no trouble getting the stock header out. The Rick's header went in very easy from underneath. I had the car up on my jackstands (almost all the way up.) I did have trouble once the header was in though. You really need another person helping to get the new header lined up. I called the wife out and while I was underneath holding it up, she put the header over the studs. I tightened down the mounting bracket and she went back inside.

I can't wait till I can get out on hwy and open it up.

Haha, I used my wife for a helper too. She always complains about touching the "Misstress", but she helps me when needed. For my Header install, my 4 diff installs.

They look the same but when I put the new one on I did notice that they are a little different.

Glad to hear everybody's experiences with this, but I'm still waiting to get my questions answered.

Where exactly in Decatur? I'll sign for it!

Still waiting to hear about the ETA on the 2nd batch of 10. I think I'm #19, although the website said there was two left before AND after I ordered.

Also, can we count on a set of Rick's legendary installation instructions with this stunning piece of automotive sex?
So are we. Communication from the far east to us have been spotty at best. I about fell over when I was told tyhat ten were ready for me to pick up at the shop. So I hope I will get suprised. But I am pushing to get ETAs for you and for me.

Nope, not on this one. The Helms manual covers this on in details, and it is not that hard to do otherwise. XViper wrote a How To thread on it too.

Now if someone would like to write one for us, we will be happy to put it on our site. any takers?

Yes, Phil, I would help you.

And all you guys using helpers... :bleh: Bill, i did tighten three of the nuts from the bottom. I had recently purchased ratcheting wrenches- ABSOLUTELY SEXX!! They are a "gotta-have" item. Don't get the Craftsman ones as they do not have a head that bends. But I did get my set from Sears.

Almost forgot, wipe down the header real good with rubbing alcohol after install and before firing the car up. This'll give you a more uniform color-change... if that matters to anyone.
