I leave my full height screen up all the time, except for every few weeks for a rear window cleaning. I just gently push out on the window and the screen clears it. I'd say head wind improvement is 25%. I wish someone would 'invent' a mesh cover over and between the roll bars, ala SLK, Z3. Mesh seems to work better because it lets some air through slowly instead of forcing it all around the top and sides.

I have the 7/8's, and leave it up all the time. Only complaint is that when the top is up, you can only open the secret compartment about 2" before the aero screen hits the rear window.

I have the full screen from Rick's. It really looks OE. 7/8ths tinted looks really clean too.
