Default Rick's Badges and Waxed Surfaces

Just a quick question.... I'm about to install Rick's body and wheel badges and I wanted to make sure of one thing. Should the surface area that I apply the badges to be free of wax? Will this matter at all with regards to how well the badges will adhere to the surface? Just curious because I recently zaino'd the entire car (including wheels).

Thanks,

Albert

Good Question, don't know the answer but I would like to know as well. (If we can get 15 red on sebring for Rick to put them into production. Come on people order some of them!)

For best adherance, you should remove any wax in the area. Liquid Dawn works fine for this purpose. Rewax after the badge is down.

For Zaino, I understand that it takes isopropyl alcohol to remove it. Whether it needs to be removed like wax does is another question...

I wonder if goo gone will be enough to remove Zaino... since I'll be using that stuff anyway to take off the original badge's adhesive.
