I wouldn't call them "ugly"...but when I saw the pic, I immediately thought about the bad guys from that mid 90's videogame "out of this world" if anybody remembers that one.

...can't find a good pic.

I dont know how that hole can be used as a helmet hole or how anyone's head sinks in there.. my wife is 5'3" and her head is above that hole..
She must have an exceptionally long torso because I'm 7" taller and can still rest my head in the cutout.

Plus wouldn't her head being taller than the hole mean her head was roughly as high as the windshield?

Well,
I do have neck problems and have always had an issue on long drives with holding my head becuase there is no where for it to rest. Problem solved. I wish I got these years ago. I dont think it looks bad, to me they look just as good as the mesh but the comfort issue is priceless to me. When its humid and its hurting me, I would take my audi q7 insted just to be in a little less pain. NOT ANY MORE BABY! My girfriend is going to hate these because ill be driving the car much more now. ( she has a weak stomach )

Yeah, but most Japanese are less than 5'3".
I LOL'd. My wife is Korean and 4'10''. I chuckle when I see her in the car and how comfortable she looks. I am 6'1'' and I love it and am comfortable but often end up with a cold neck on cooler days.

I borrowed a buddy's SLK 350 with the Airscarf system and within 30 seconds of turning it on started figuring out how I could reroute the footwell vents to an Airscarf system for my S.
