Update: Sun's out & top is down. New leather visors are a HUGE improvement, give the car's interior considerably more top-down curb appeal.

Probably make the kit more expensive and installation more time consuming, but sewup rather than zipper would be better way to go. (IMHO)

I just received mine today. They fit perfectly.

I believe the trick to getting them to go on properly is how well you line up the pointy end of the visor. If you have trouble with them seeming too tight on the wide end (the second end you put in), try re-starting the cover, getting it more deeply up in the pointy pocket and centered really well... this really makes it go in without any drama.

My opinion? These visor covers are a MUST for everybody.

Rick or James-

Is it possible to get black zippers, so that they would be less noticeable?

-Pete

PS: Thanks for covering those unsightly OEM visors!!!

Thanks!

Maybe I was looking at a pic of an older version or prototype?

I hope it's also black on the red leather visors.

[I'm getting out my checkbook now!!]

I had planned to get these, but my wife's reaction when I asked her if she would miss the passenger-side mirror saved my neck. Is there any way to keep or add a mirror that doesn't look bad?

I love mine. They are hardly noticable, but make a nice upgrade. They fit well with Rick's leather console cover and leather shift boot. Thanks.

Kodokan_4,

You may be onto something here. If I removed the mirror cover on the OEM visor, there would be a thin space to place a magnet... Any suggestions for a strong, thin magnet?

I received a PM from James who informed me that the red visors come with red zippers, so I will give that a try. He also offered to install a black zipper, if I prefer- now that's good service!

Crabby Guy- Off hand, I'm not sure where to purchase the thin, flat magnet, but I was thinking about those refrigerator magnets that are like business cards. The whole back of the card is a thin, flexible magnet. Try an internet search. Good luck- if you get it done, show us some pics!
