can someone post a pic of exactly how the dif fits together with labels on the crush collar, etc cuz barely anyone understands what's really going on? i would like to know.

UPDATE: with the top up and radio off, there are some noises from the rear, but not greatly different than stock. hard to describe, but of no serious negative consequence.

sounds great, i was thinking about gears for my ap2, but I was worried about top speed being similar...

I understand that ap1's can general reach similar top speeds as without gears, but I was wondering if the lower redline on the ap2 will severely limit top speed (under 140-145?)

thanks Strato. can you tell me some of the other major parts and their names?

unsure about top speed on ap2 but prob around 135. are you ever gonna go 140+? the only time a ferrari ever gets to do over that is on the runway for top gear

wow an 04 with 4.56's installed....very interesting. I would guess your top speed probably dropped to around 140. Was wondering at what rpm your cruising speed is on the highway, compared to what it used to be? This is my biggest concern because I usually cruise the highway at around 75-80, and it's already at 4K or a bit above.

expect 500 or so more than stock. 80 mph will make pretty high rpms. but remember that it feels "smoother" with less vibration, in my recent experience.

I can't imagine NOT getting the yellowbox just to on save a few bucks

Jeez your ODO will be over so you'll be putting more miles on the car (than actual).

I like to know close to the exact speed I'm doing.

gears + yellobox go hand in hand.

You could also get the Yellowjacket for $60. My S was the first one in the Ramjet shop. I had them install the OEM kit and I brought Mobil 1. I had 4.44s installed earlier in the year and have not had any issues.

IMO if you have a quality install, there's not going to be any noise. I am looking forward to this upgrade my own self.
