The 4.57 engraved on the ring is just a holdover from the previous Richmond Gear production run. The machining was all changed. The 4.56 have the same number of teeth as the 4.57, but the angle of engagement of the teeth was changed to reduce the whine.

With the 4.56 gears,your quater mile E.T.should be 13 seconds FLAT.!!!((In a WELL driven S2K.!!!))
