I don't want to discourage anybody from getting these steering wheels from ricks by this thread. The wheel feels great and is a little thicker than normal, which is nice. My question is that I have the yellow wheel and my hands tend to sweat a lot. From keeping my hand on the same spot on the wheel for so long it has caused some small spots on the top of the yellow leather to wear away. I was wondering if there is any way to fix this or because it was on my car when i bought it it wouldn't be a loss to me to just cut the stiches and take it off? If I decide to remove it would there be any type of material that whould be stuck to the original wheel or whould my wheel feel just like a stock one?
