The right copilot!
in my case id rather just spend time and money on my car and stay single...then deal with pointless complaining and bitching. at least i get something enjoyable from spending time and money on the car
If her skirt is giving her trouble in the car, tell her to take it off!
The car is not for everyone - my daughter hates getting in and out of the car and hates that the seat is so low she has trouble seeing out the window (she's 11, no pedobear please).
My wife doesn't mind the ride, although she does mind the noise at times. Mostly my wife is afraid to drive the car...too much for her to handle she says...similar to other 'things' of mine
.
Try to accomodate them as much as you can, let them complain (it will never stop) and move on.

Women are annoying, needy and overly dependent beings. The hot ones even more so. Get used to it.
I'm sure the women are just lined up at your door.

you just have to find the right girl.
My wife wears short skirts and has no problem getting in/out of the car.
My wife hates driving in the S with the top up, but we have been married 32 years and all my cars are convertibles and most of hers were convertibles also until we had a kid, she got a SUV for a few years at that time.
The right co-pilot and the S is perfect.

Props for you and your wife!
Who says girls can't wear short skirts in our cars. It passes top gears short skirt test.

My girlfriend used to hate the s2000. She likes suvs (particularly range rovers) for the sense of security you get while driving a big metal box. She's starting to grow on it though. Her main complaint is not being able to see out the window because she's only 5' tall, but now I just keep a blanket in the trunk and use it as a booster seat.

Married 34 years and she likes the S2000 more than any car we have had: 72 240Z, 81 Audi 5+5, 76 Honda Accord, 91 Accord, 95 4Runner, and the 07 TL-S. Only thing better for her would be a "beam me up" way to get from one point to the next...

Please. The only thing more disgusting than nature of the beast is the white knighting suckers that cater to and feed into this BS.
Read some of these replies. I stand by my original post.
