On the other hand - so are some guys!
My plus one hates having his hair messed up and whines with the top down below 50 nor does he like riding with me on fast curvy roads.
Drives with him are usually social events, the fun stuff I drive alone

I used to be the copilot and plus 1 and loved it. The S was Bob's most cherised possesion (right after Ray and then me). Hair, who cares! Top down as much as possible. I was happy to help navigate, change out CDs, and never had to be the designated driver since Bob didn't drink. "Want to go for a drive" made me squeal with delight!
Now I'm the pilot and understand why it was such a thrill for Bob. I go top down to the point of ridiculous. Rain, out run it! Woo hoo! Heat, turn up the AC, wear a hat and slather on the sun screen. Cold, put on a jacket, gloves.
What's beautiful? Bob was beautiful. Not only becasue of what he looked like but the entire package was there; funny, smart, passionate and loved to have fun as well as being responsible and level headed. We took good care of each other. It was great while it lasted. Everyone should be so lucky as I was.
