hi ,
i wanted to know if there is anyway i can take my car into a track to try it out, to see what it can really do. does anybody know where i can find one in nj area?
like... just to go there rent the track for a couple of hours , or something like that.
i heard somewhere that i have to be a member in some club first

You'll want to try an Autocross. SCCA puts them on, and you don't have to be a member.

Check your local board for more details.

 

If you don't enjoy racing at parking lots check out this link. The BWM guys are consistently crazy in all 50 states and they let others tag along sometimes. They are a good bunch just tell'em u come from a long line of bimmer owners.... Open track is where the real fun starts, enjoy.
