Royal Purpal Tranny Fluid
Let me 1st start out by saying that I am probably in the wrong place to be asking this, but here goes.
I am getting ready to change out my trans. fluid and a friend of mine told me to try Royal Purpal. He swears by it. When I did my last change I used GM Syncro. and it was ok.
Just trying to not make any mistakes.

i just use the tranny fluid i get from honda. The parts guy where i get it from said they changed the formula or something recently, so it is a lot better now. I cant confirm how true or not true that is though since this is all coming from some dude i barely know. ONe thing i have noticed though is that royal purple products in general are talked up quite a bit. Dont get me wrong, i think royal purple is good stuff, but not as good as some people make it out to be.
I use it. It was the only decent fluid I could get in a hurry. It's good. Not "super fantastic the best ever!!" but totally serviceable. You will notice an immediate improvement when you change your tranny fluid as long as you are putting in fluid that is compatible with the S2K.
I might use it again.

I use the Synchromax fluid. I like it, it has withstood track abuse and maintained shift quality throughout repeated 20 minute sessions. As long as it's readily available, I'll continue using it.
