royal purple?

Default royal purple?

i m thinking doing the differential fluid change. is royal purple good brand? or should i go buy redline? also how much oil do i need?

I did mine 3,000 miles ago with Royal Purple MaxGear. It's a GL-5, which is the correct specification for the S2000. Good stuff IMO. Get 2 quarts and you'll be covered. Fill it until it begins to spill from the fill hole.

BTW, I also used Royal Purple SynchroMax in the trans. It's a GL-4 which will be correct for the sensitive synchronizers in the trans.

Get 2 quarts and you'll be covered
2 qts. will do TWO diff fluid changes and you'll still have about 1/2 qt. left over for the 3rd one. Each diff fluid change needs about 0.75 qt.

royal purple isn't very good for the cost. there are much better oils out there for that price.
