Default What do I need for fluid changes?

I am planning on changing my tranny and diff fluid. I was planning on using Redline MTL and Mobil 1 diff fluid but I don't know the weights I would need for either of them. If anyone feels I should not use either of the fluids I have mentioned now would be the time to let me know before I make a mistake. Thanks

P.S. I assume both of these are synthetic fluids and also would I be able to get either of these at my local auto store?

I just changed the diff fluid today. I really have no idea how the diff impact the car (i.e. when it's working) so its difficult for me to tell if it's working better.

Been using Amsoil for a couple years. Always seems to be clean whenever I change it. Kinda pricey, but seems to keep things running smoothly.

Only a fluid analysis will tell for sure how any given lubricant is doing in the part that's being protected. "Feel" is all it is ---- just a "feeling". For some analysis numbers and also for all kinds of lubricant information, check here:
