Its not that much slower than the S2000....and the handling in the RSX-S is way better than the old integra....It needs better tires and rims....too bad its FWD...but it is probably the best FWD car in the states...YOu get a lot of your 23K!

I test drove one and it was very fast...and it sounded real smooth and sweet at 8k rpms...

The S2000 is a solid car...but so is the RSX-S..

It is a good car, but I think the mini cooper S probably has better handling. My sister has an RSX and it understeers a lot more then I expected it too. The RSX is fun to mod though, you can get nice noticable gains with bolt ons. Yes the stock tires suck, the car would be much better with summer tires.

I own both an RSX Type S and the S2000...

They are totally different... Even though the RSX has a short throw shifter, when compared to the S2000, the gearbox seems extremely "wide" if you know what I mean...

Both fun to drive, but the S2000 pulls alot harder through the gears....

Overall, if you want luxury, go with the RSX.. If you want a "thrill ride" go with the S2000....

I have JDM DC5 Integra Type-R and I'm swapping for S2000. After driving both I think they are equally as good but in different ways but the lure of rear wheel drive and convertable steels it for me.

the new rsx type s will have more hp closing the gap . its not too bad with lowering spring and larger rear antiroll bar(more neutral handling). but the s2k comes out of the box pretty much perfect, and convertibles are always more expensive.

In general, you get what you pay for. They're both Hondas but more time & money were put into tuning the S2000. However, I'm guessing the S2000 is priced at higher margins to make up for the R&D costs as well as the limited # made & sold.

I've driven both a lot, as my cousin has an RSX-Type S.

It's a great car and it's unfair to compare it to an S2000.

Most of the differences are posted in the earlier replies.
