So is there an S2K wave, also? I won't get much of a chance to practice it, however. Just not very many around here. I like that.

Tanqueray, You've obviously blown what I said way out of proportion. Were you born yesterday? Grow up. And yeah, I got lots of friends. None of 'em have glasses quite as rosy as yours. And I'll for sure wave at the guy that took just your car for a joy ride.
For those of you who have already seen this post, I've just edited it. I apologize for my previous language. I don't generally let someone like this push my buttons. It just ain't that important. The idea of a forum is to have different points of view. I allowed some insults to motivate my response. As an Australian aquaintance used to say, "Doesn't matta!!"

XViper,

I deleted my comments (and there were zero insults, by the way, unless quoting your own comments is insulting). Live your life however you want, its none of my business.

It's funny 'cause I have only seen two on the road since I have owned blackie(over a year),and I know there are more around than what I see..If I meet up with one it's a friendly wave, and if they want to converse at a stoplight, that is ok,mostly have every other kind of car stopping, straining their neck(almost, causing accidents sometimes) to figure out what the hell the car is,midwest people are pretty cool though, there are many who just want to ask questions, even boxters, vettes, beemers are wondering, stook is a seldom seen(in my area, like it) and unique car that attracts attention, and that is ok,I just love driving it,that's what it's all about for me..

Okay, everybody back to your corners and when the bell rings - come out vtec'ing. I think now would be a good time for all to go drive your car. Or at least sit in it an make engine noises like my 2 year old does (he loves the car as much as I do - and he dosen't even ride in it)
We all bought these cars to have FUN - remember.

Funny No, actually I had my girlfriend in the car as well. The funny thing is he actually didn't even look over at all. Like some of you said he might have been scared of being encountered by another Stook with his girlfriend in the car. Maybe he was scared I wanted to race or harrass him or something. It was funny because the same day I pulled up next to a BMW M Roadster and he was totally checking out my car. I could tell because I noticed him in my side view mirror. When I pulled up right next to him I was going to give him the "Hey you got a nice car" Nod. You know the kind....Well, he was looking straight ahead and wouldn't look at me for the world. Again, probably scared I was going to say something. I don't know but these California people are paronoid!! Oh well....life goes on.

Or maybe the woman wasn't supposed to be in his car. You know how LA is? It is very difficult to find a quality guy.

[QUOTE]I'd be willing to bet the S2000 Meet in Asheville will bring our online community closer once we have faces and personalities tied to the 'handles' that we use on this board.
