It's not like everyone with an Accord or even a Porsche waves at each other. Moreso, it is a salutation to one's OWN enthusiasm and excellent judgement in choosing such a sophisticated vehicle. It is hard to imagine the other guy or girl in the next lane in his/her S2000 did not exercise the same good taste and intense negotiation that those of us on this Board did to get our coveted cars. But the truth is that many did not...some are bought by indulgent parents, some by generous Significant Others whose only qualification is a big checkbook. Many buy our cars to be "first on ther cul-de-dac" or because "gee isn't that a cute little Honda". Those are the people who don't wave, because they just don't feel any common motivation with us. They are the ones whose cars appear on eBay or in the paper with lame reasons for selling like "too noisy" or "my legs don't fit" or the ever-popular "I got too many tickets". Sad for them, more power to us.
