rx7 wheels on s2k
Hi
One of Randyc's post (carbon fiber hood) showed an S2K with what looks like 3rd gen RX7 mags.
Does anyone have any more info on this? Size, weight, etc? I can probably pick up some used rims for real cheap at a scrap yard that would make real good racing/winter rims.
Inquiring minds want to know,
Rob

Would that fit (offset, bolt pattern, etc)?
It appears that the RX mags are 225-50-16 all around?
We are running 205/55 in front and 225/50 in back.. What would happen if we upgraded the front with 225/50? Would it be more 'responsive' in steering (or maybe to twitchy?)

FYI... 3rd Gen RX7 wheels only fit in the rear. The hub on the front is too big for the RX7 wheels and the wheels need to be machined to fit. I just got this done to use my rx7 wheels for snow tires. The offsets are ok... not great but they don't stick out any further than my 18" OZ Superleggra's.
Yeah... exacty... That's how I was when trying to mount the front tire.
I read these posts and just assumed they would fit. I mounted the rears on and they bolted right on and they were flush with the fender. The fronts fit in terms of offset but not the hub. Oh well...
