I might let it go if it's something that's not too expensive to fix. It'll definitely better your impression on him. He'll definitely put an eye on you whenever there's an opportunity for advancement! lol

k nvm, to put it simple, it's a suck up.

Meh I've been with the company since it was the 3 partners and me in a single room, now there are 20+ of us with a couple good-sized offices and pretty good revenues For the amount I worked for the first 2 years here they better look at me for every opportunity

Screw it, Saki makes a good point and my boss can pay for it. Only good thing I can think of is that it was painted within the past few months so it's likely thicker and a bit more durable paint than the stupid factory paint.

I'm calling my shop...

Ah, just let him pay. I'm pretty sure he feels bad enough to want to pay for it. I wouldn't even think of not paying for it if I did that to somebody in the same situation as yours. Just think of it that way....unless he is a cheap and selfish bastard that doesn't care about other peoples' things .

Sounds like an ass to me.

I agree with the poster above. If I did that to a coworker's car, I would feel awful NOT paying for it.

I would start complaining about neck pains, although you weren't in the car.

He's your boss... he can afford to pay for it more than you can

If you and your boss are on good enough terms for him to act like an idiot and park that close to your car, he can pay to have the bumper sanded and repainted.

Of course he should pay - I can't see it being any other way. His own cocking about brought this situation upon him, and he'd be one hell of an ass to insinuate your letting the matter go.

He pays or the insurance company gets involved.

Your boss sounds like a bad prankster.
