We are a two car family. The S is my daily drive. My better half drives the SUV. Need the second car for hauling and going out with friends.

There is only one thing wrong with having an S as your only car; you have to decide to give it up for something else and then lament about the car you 30 years ago when you turn 50.

The S is my only car and I'm happy as such. The trunk fits more than you would think. The ride is comfortable for almost any trip and of course, it's always fun to drive!

I have friends with SUVs and sedans should I ever find myself in a spot where I need to move a lot of stuff.

My s is not my daily driver... but during the times I do take my beater out (mostly back and forth to work), I WISH I was in my S!

I have a 91 Accord that I will continue to use as my daily as soon as I get my S2000. I am not sure if it would be impractical to drive the S as a daily but being a golfer as well, I can guarantee you that two fully loaded bags WILL NOT fit in the trunk. Make sure there is no one riding with you if you need to carry more than one because it will have to ride shotgun. =)

No, S2K is not my only car. And I can't imagine it to be my only car.
Even though S2k is hella fun to drive and works well 80% of the time for communte and daily drive in sunny CA, but ... there are times that i would prefer to drive a beater (i.e. going to not-so-nice neighborhood, shopping, rain, trips, stay over at friends' where I need to park the car on the street over night, need to carry more than just a golf bag or 2, etc)

S is my only car as well. I went from three vehicles (96 Corvette GS, 96 Honda Accord, and 00 Acura 3.2 Tl) to just the S. I decided that it was getting ridiculous with not enough room in the garage, so I wanted to simplify. I love having the S as my ONLY car....one car to fill up with gas, one car to clean, one car to pay on insurance, etc. Add to that the fact that, like you, im 30yo, single, and you only live once, and its a NO-BRAINER. I thought that having the S to drive everyday would be harsh, but it makes the drive home my daily dose of therapy Obviously there are some drawbacks to the roadster (re: space), but then again I don't plan on bringing back sheets of plywood from Home Depot in the s2k anytime soon (that's why we have friends w/suvs). I can get my groceries in the trunk just fine, and like others have said, rolling-carry on luggage fits perfectly for business trips. You seem to be in a similar situation, so I say GO FOR IT! Impractical for some---maybe, but not for me. Good luck

The S is only for pleasure...Daily driver is 78 CJ7 with a 304...Far from the S but when you shower down on the gas it will get with it,and you can park it any where you want no worries...Was asked why I purchased such a car my reply...You can have the worst possible day at work your whole life could be falling apart and come home jump in the S2000 and go for a ride and it makes it all go away...

I agree with marks2k. I was in the grocery store pking lot today and saw some

punks riding around staring at my new s2k. I came home picked up my truck and

went back. I also take my truck to work. I want my s2k to last , so I keep it

in the garage when the weather sucks. And all the other time when not being

driven. I cant imagine a pking lot ding just cuz i didn't want to drive my truck.

My insurance is under 100.00 per month cuz it's a pleasure vehicle and not an

everyday vehicle. (both vehicles, full coverage).
