well i guess i understand what you guys are saying now. i guess i'll have to rethink all this. evo and sti are cool, but i don't want a 4 door. also it's not a convert. if anything i'd go with the s4.

corvette ehhhhh, i'm not really a fan of them....where i live every old man over 45 has one. the z06 is sick, but it still "looks" the same.

well then 13's is realistic then right? with the supercharger?

The best way to get a decent 12 is to get a turbo and 4.44 gears. Of course with this you'd also want to get the comptech re-enforced rear, the signal modifier, cryo-treat the entire rear end, and maybe save 5 grand just for the inevitable that will happen to ANY ANY car that is put on steroids. Go get a car that can take the abuse a little easier, such as the supra, or a 300zx tt. I'm not flaming though..... as i plan on doing all of the above

brandon, would 4.77 be better if he is solely concerned with running twelves, although they are not practical for highway driving they would yeild faster times on the strip right?

Maybe, maybe not. It would be a matter of whether or not it adds an extra shift or not, and if so, does the extra accelleration make up for it..... probably not. Also, thats even more beating on the engine!!

buy a mustang cobra if you want a convertible in the 12's... stock. You could put that thing in the mid 10's for the price of putting an S2000 in the (reliable) 12's
