S2000 2nd place on JD Power&Associates
Hey, was looking through MSN and came across these pages. First was the JD Power&Associates 2004 Initial Quality Winners. The S is in the Premium Sports Car category and in 2nd after Porsche 911 and in front of the 350Z. Look for youselves.

We were last in the popular sports car category

And best engine 1.8 to 2.0liter. Guess this is the pre-04s because 2.0-2.5 is the BMW.

that study doesn't mean a whole lot. it is problems (any) in the first days of ownership.
it means diddly for long term reliability (of course the S is reliable). GM and the like harp about this study to try to make people think they make quality cars.

i dont understand the reasoning behind any of these ratings. how do you compare a $90K+ 911 and a $30K+ s2k? doesnt make a whole lot of sense. nonetheless, s2k is again rated ahead of the boxter and z3/4
