Default S2000 or 400HP WRX ?

S2000 basically can't drive on wintertime(well we can but not the best car for the winter) WRX is better for the all season drive....
if there is 400HP WRX....done up one...will u trade ur S????
if not...what's the reason....?

NO!!!! Why would I trade such a beautiful car with a convertible that is in somewhat limited production and handles like no other car in the price range for an over powered grocery getter that isn't very sleek looking at all? I guess if you are forced to have only one car and must transport a family and large items, the WRX may let you have some fun doing it. But I don't really feel it deserves to be considered as trade material with an S. Like comparing apples to oranges as they say.

I have to agree, seems odd that the WRX and S2000 ever get compared in any way. They are such different cars for much different purposes. Depends on how practical you want to be. But living in California I can't immagine that the winters are that bad. I would never trade my S2000 for a WRX here in Texas. While I may light up the tires from time to time, I make use of the convertible top almost daily. No comparison in my opinion no matter how much power the WRX makes. Just my $.02

I've test driven an WRX and I'd have to say quite impressed by it. But you can't compare the two.

WRX - Not a convertible, has 4 seats and has 4 wheel drive.

You're not buying a S2000 because it's practical.

you are right, nothing handles like an s2k in its price range, because a miata and a 350z are much cheaper.

not trying to talk shit on the S2k, i love it too. but it is not the BEST handling car in stock form. its snappy and everyone knows it.

. its snappy and everyone knows it.
Snappy for those who don't know car dynamics, weight transfer, and rear wheel driving techniques.
I'm sorry, but this car's handling is unbelievably good, so good in fact, that it makes the average driver feel like M. Schumacher, hence the tendency to go beyond its limits.
Like any high-powered toy, you've got to have a little respect for the machine or it will bite, but that goes for ANY car (yes, even an AWD car) Laws of physics apply to all cars equally.
Know thy limits and have a clue as to car dynamics and you'll be fine!
