A book has just been published and is not yet available in stores (but is through the publisher)...

Title: S2000
Cost: $19.95
Description: Story of the development and production of the Honda S2000 with color and black and white photos taking you from the first concept sketches through the concept car and ultimately the production S2000
Call: 1-800-458-0454
ISBN: 076030906X
Item: 131841

I am in no way affiliated with the publisher, but was at Border's and they gave me the phone number and other information since the book isn't scheduled to release to stores until June 2001 (but will ship from the publisher like NOW)

Not only did i place a security deposit today on a silver/black S2000 but also am a owner of this very book. On the way home today from securing the vehicle I called my girlfriend and told her the good news. She stopped off at Mr. Paperback to get a Chi and also picked up this book.
Reading it tonight I found it to be very interesting. Most of what I have either read in magazines and or on here for the last month or so has given me great insight. This book adds to more of the story behind Honda and the evolution of there engineering.

I'm glad to hear that it's out, as Amazon is apparently still awaiting shipments.

Thanks for the post!

I just cancelled my order with amazon.com and ordered direct from the publisher, Motorbooks International/Classic Motorbooks.

Here is a link to their web site but be forewarned that this book is not yet listed there:

http://www.motorbooks.com/cgi-bin/WebObjec...zL/3.12.1.0.1.1

I am having the book shipped overnight via FedEx so I will be receiving it tomorrow.

Can't wait!
