North Scottsdale huh? Typical around that area. Especially PV, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale.

i think what our count was 13 last year??? May be alittle off and it's higher than that but yea you need a good alarm with an internal battery and siren the the cabin.

I live down south, and haven't had a problems where I am so far. My friends mostly lose their antenna's.

Ouch.

How did you make out with insurance?
so the estimate came back at $10,000. They're going to fix it...used parts out of an 06 s2000 in Utah that was just totaled in an accident. I could argue for new stuff but really I don't give a crap since I'm returning it on lease in July. I am set to inspect the seats and wheel before they are installed - so if they are worn to the point where it would affect my lease return, I can decline and start over.

We'll see what the final bill is.... my guess is it will be higher than the estimate...they always are.

I would argue that used seats out of a totaled vehicle are not safe. I am trying to do the same with my ins. I am a physical therapist, and I have treated many people who have sustained severe injuries when their seat failed on them in a collision. Seats that have been in a wreck can not be guaranteed safe. The frames may have been fatigued and may not survive a second collision. I have no problem buying used seats, as long as they come from a car that has not had a severe collision.

Best of luck!

Just leave a few Ed Hardy and Affliction brand T shirts outside your car on the ground and Im sure it'll bait the douchebags from messing with your car.
