I'm not type A. I'm too laid back, maybe a bit anal retentive. I love my S; the finese, control and pure beauty of the car fit me perfectly.

Hi. I've owned my 2004 S for 1 and 1/2 years now. I think I can describe its temperament. It is powerful, rip snorting, loud, impatient, and angry. It is very quick to become hostile; it revs quickly and easily and begins to snarl naturally. Other drivers hear the S coming and edge uneasily away.

What kind of person would enjoy a car lke this?

I think that only a Type A person would enjoy this pure, no frills adrenaline machine. The S2000 is not a car for a gentle, slow, laid-back personality.
What do you think?
I thought the "Type A personality" is characterized by people who are time conscience and try to do multiple tasks, simultaneously. Regardless of whether they are Type A, B or something else, I think the S is for people who are A L I V E!

BTW, I typed this response while eating my lunch, talking on the phone, drinking 2 liters of diet Mt. Dew, answering e-mails and watching TV, because there just isn't enough time in one day to get all of my important tasks completed. Hey, you gave me an idea, maybe I can do all of this stuff while driving to work.

multitasking? How else does one simultaneously shift, brake, while carving up corners?

We laid back peeps need a thrill. The S is it.

I look forward to those Sunday drives.

Me too. I drive it differently (more aggressively) than I have any other car because it can be driven differently than any other car I've owned. But I'm considered to be a calm person.

I think its a car for people who want a reliable, low cost. sweet looking, but less obrtusive Porsche.
