It's a good feeling.

He lives in Sydney. Most Australians don't have hugely modified cars (exterior) but there are plenty of mug drivers who like to tailgate and push you around. Tradesmen and delivery drivers I find to be the worst. If one runs into the back of me whilst tailgating I'm going to get out and go back and introduce him to a knuckle sandwhich. These sort of pricks really get my blood boiling. I'm sorry ... just had to vent.

yeah, isn't that crazy...i have the exact same deal. yellow is bad enough, but with the hardtop...it's crazy. People will just stare...while driving...while waiting for the bus, while walking, while doing about anything. They ask a lot of questions too.

Yep, Muz is right on some pointers about Sydney and idiots around my zone ... While my car is just a complete black object at night, currently also running on color coded black wheels as well with a black hardtop and an impossible vision black tint all round and extraordinary PIAA upgraded HIDs. Does that attract attention to race? Hmm, I doubt seriously.

Hey Muz, you even have your garage door painted blue as well eh? Damn, I see your love for blue. Do you have blue park lights, clear side markers and rear plate lights on your car as well? I should send you some blue lights to compliment the car if you are running those stock ugly yellow-crap bulbs for your birthday. And please, take off the front plate for goodness sake.

Everyone seems to go on about the "color" attracting attention. I think it is the car, itself...and the fact that most of us are so in love with this car that we tend to keep them very clean & shined up!

I get comments at traffic lights, thumbs up from motorcylists, gawking out of rear windows as people pass by, gangs of girls asking for a ride (never only one, rather whole gangs...darn!), etc. It's the car, though, not the driver...I'm positive of that! And, the ladies all seem to look more than the men, when I would have thought the S2000, with its aggressive look would appeal more to men.

I don't think it's so much an ego thing for me, I really enjoy that other people are enjoying viewing the S2000. I get a great thrill when I spot a Ferrari, or something else unusual, so I know the feeling.

p.s. there's a short tunnel near my place that I will detour to go thru it at every chance. The S2000 sounds "so good" in there. Cheeses me off when there are other cars going thru at the same time, as I can't do the vteching for fear of frightening them & causing an accident. A car that looks good, sounds good, and is so much fun to drive....heaven! Think I'll go out and rub some more Zaino Bros. on it.

D#@n

I may have to get rid of the stook with all the other ladies attention this car gets, wvwn with my lovely wife wife onboard! Maybe I'll just have to put blinders on! The girls and boys attention just estimates the heats attention, "BE CAREFUL OUT THERE"!
