Too many vetts on the road for me to own one, unless it was an old generation 1-3.

 

I just sold my 00 s2000 .I had modded it with a supercharger and updated clutch.It was a great car but I traded it in on a 2001 Vette convertible with 3000 miles.My Butt Dyno says that both are putting out about the same HP.I am finding the S2000 had a sportier(firmer) ride.The s2000 is lighter and the Corvette is longer.I did race the Honda a couple times on the hiway and I could say it handled predictably.On the other hand I think I don't miss the Honda because I don't feel like I have given anything up either buying the new car(except the Zenon lights)..

 

C5's front travels at high speed. I drove several of them and it was all the same - at 70+Mph the front was unstable. I recall one review said this is 'characteristic' of Vette. I am NOT interested is such character:-)
