hi.. I am a newbie here. I have a S2000 in South Africa. I don't drive it often. but i find it cost oil consumption. I always drive it hard sometime to 7-8000 rpm on traffic light. From last service I add 500ml oil in 1800km.. is it normal?

Will drive hard cost the engine oil than normal drive?

I am using shell ultra helix, is it good enough for S2000?

Do your guy's S2000 cost oil consumption in UK?

Will different oil brand cost different on oil consumption? (fullly sysn oil)??

 

that's half a quart in 3000 miles.

that seems normal for a S2000, maybe even a little low.
