anyway... the 2 cars aren't in the same league. one is designed to go fast in a straight line and is otherwise entirely useless.

the other is an S2000.

you take your pick man, but i'll say this... no one looks at the guy in the cobalt SS and goes 'wow that guy has a nice car!'

 

Cobalt SS is a pos, just like the Saturn version...there have been alot of problems with those cars and the UOAs show the engine is junk...S2000 is head and shoulders above in terms of build quality and handling

 

my friend and i raced a cobalt ss before. we raced only in the hwy. we went rolling from 60 up to 120. 3rd and 4th gear is almost dead same. 5th gear, the s2k slowly walk the cobalt ss. it was a brand new 06 cobalt at the time and the s2k was an 03

 

Toyozuki... do you part and help save America.. buy the Cobalt. All of these people buying the darn fangled foren cars is whats making China rich. We are all going to have to learn to speek chineze because of Toyota. The Cobalt SS is like an arrow... it goes fast, straight and true. Your country and the UAW needs you now. Go to your Chevy salesman now and by the Cobalt... you will be glad you did. Amerika, live it or live with it! Me, I like my Escort.

 

From articles I've read, the Cobalt handles extremely well, plus it has quite a bit of power. Anyone on here who blindly dismisses it may find themselves surprised when they find themselves getting spanked by one or at least having it keep up with them through the twisties.

toyota btw is a japanese car maker. toyota is made in japan... maybe your chevy is like nike... they are made in china.. LOL.

there is a huge difference between japanese people and chinese people.. LOL
