the car is gear limited to 174 (or that's what I have read here several times before anyway) so yeah it would be possible if that is the case (assuming you had enough power to overcome the drag limit, or were going downhill).
drag limit is about 163mph. the guy's name was turbo dave I believe (though he was N/A) I think all he had was intake/exhaust, but he was going down a slight hill.
Back to the drag coefficient - I saw a thread on this last year and can't find it now. As I recall, the consensus was that it was in the .36-.38 range. As much as I love my S2000 and wish it was lower, this seems like a reasonable number to me. The last Porsche 911 has a claimed coefficient of @.33. The S2000, with a convertible top, just isn't going to get there. If it's only 10% higher, at .36, I'm happy.
As for top speed, this gear chart (for the MY04) shows that the revs run out of gearing at just over 150 mph. That's the best you can get @ 8000 rpm in 6th gear with stock gearing and wheels.
