S2000 Engine/Warranty Issue
All you arguing fools need to realize that ANY manual transmission can be mis-shifted, and damage the engine! It is more common on this car only because it has a short throw shifter.
There are lots of cars out there that are more prone to driver error due to the design of the car. Because of the design of the S2000, it is may be more likely to be wrapped around a tree than a Volvo. Does that mean that Honda should pay to fix all S2000s that have been wrapped around a tree?

Street automobiles with Sequential Manual Transmission/Gearbox (SMT/SMG) has the basic manual transmission components, but is ultimately controlled by electronics.

Looks like Honda has agreed to pay for the visible damages, however, they need to remove the engine and open it up for further inspection to assure that there is no hidden damage. I have to pay this portion.....$400.00. Which is a lot better than $6-$15K. By Friday of this week, they will have taken the engine out, inspected, etc.
