Everyone on here seems to be VERY nice S2000 owners. They respect they're car & they like to talk to others that own the same car, or else they wouldn't be here. Anyways, ALMOST EVERY S2000 owner I've seen ont he road has been a complete a**hole. Everyone that I have met on the road and here has been nothing but great. I don't understand what is wrong with some of the owners out there. Ex: I'll be driving down the road and pass a fellow S2000, I'll either honk or wave to them and only 3 times (out of about 10) have I gotten a friendly response!!!! What is the deal with some of the owners out there?!?

What do you guys do when you see a fellow S2000 owner???

 

We occasionally have the same problem here in Houston, but most people are receptive to our enthusiasm. Some of the people bought the car to be trendy.

 

Perhaps you don't know the secret wave, known only to certain owners of S2Ks. For only $2,500, I will reveal the wave to you, promising to always return your wave when I see you. Your secret wave will be valid for one year from the date I cash your check. At the end of that time, upon receipt of an additional $2,500, I will give you the new secret wave. I will await your reply.

 

Yeah I know what you mean. Whenever I see another S2K, I always honk, wave, or flash my lights. 80% of the time - I am just ingnored

 

I wave. Last one I saw I flagged down. We both stopped on a side road, talked, and I gave the other S2K owner a S2000online card. Thus, "Spryguy" was introduced to the "club"!

Another silver one I saw on the freeway several months ago, but he did not even look.

 

I hardly see any other stooks to wave or say hello in my area. Instead I notice that I'm of the center of attention That can be good and bad I guess. Depends my location.

your experience is the exact opposite of mine, every time I see a stook in the dc area (which probably happens at least once a week) I always get a friendly smile and wave - I have never had another stook driver ignore me and not wave back - most usually beet me to the punch and wave first

 

Yes I have noticed that in Houston too.. Was following a white one on the freeway. They exited and I passed by. Honked and waved... no reply.. Why are they so stuck up?? Did have one that pulled up next to me on richmond (silver/black). He yelled nice car, I replied you too... But most of the time I get ignored.

I usually wave when I see one, but have gotten a pretty even mix of responses. Oh well...I'm not going to let it stop me from being enthusiastic about my StooK.

 

why only last week i flashed a guy,he spun a 180, pulled me over, grabbed my pet komodo dragon,tom, and threw him into oncoming traffic.......but then again, this IS california.....
