I do catch soccer moms stare-ing while I'm cruising...Caught one yesterday while driving to get lunch. I look over and see this middle aged woman(fine as hell) stare-ing...I wave, she smiles and looks away.

I visited SD and LA for HC2. People in California drive like total ****ers. No one knows how to get out of the left lane, everyone cuts you off at the last minute, everyone switches lane like they're an 18 year old speed racer wannabe, if you pass someone, they will go faster than you
Driving was actually stressful there.

The upside is that everyone at least goes 70... when it's possible.

But i actualy found it less stressful there than in Utah. I even told my dad that it was a breath of fresh air.

Portland, Oregon has pretty polite drivers most of the time except if everyone is going 60 you will be going 60 unlike California where you might be able to navigate around slower traffic. I did have one guy in a huge pickup basically want to kill me in my S though because his truck wasn't faster than my car. I took an offramp and this guy behind me barrels down on my car at full freeway speeds while I'm slowing down on the offramp then veers out of the offramp and back onto the freeway before hitting me.

Maybe I should get really worked up over the fact that my car can't tow a 20 foot boat too.

when its night time people go up to 80-90 as a whole sometimes...
at least when I do drives from LA to SD late at night, I end up as the only guy going 75 and people still passing me left and right
but everyone goes like 60 when a CHP appears xD

totally agree with the not know how to get out of the left lane thing (yes it's absolutely okay to go 55 mph in the left lane when everyone else is at 65 )

those last minute lane changes with no signaling and then changing back to their previous lane just to go "faster" when I'm still in the same lane and end up passing them.

saw a car weave in and out of the carpool lane trying to beat traffic the other day.

^ Around 1997 or so I was driving 110 mph down I-5 in the middle of California and got passed by a cop. They did clamp down on this since they raised the speed limit however.

During my commute from San Francisco to San Mateo on some days I could easily be doing 80 or faster along with everyone else down I-280 at 4pm.

California drives fast - then I met a guy from Chicago who complained the Bay Area didn't drive aggressive enough.

^^ I love driving into chicago. Everyone is very cut and dry, no bs. Either go fast or get run over. It seems very fast and aggressive at first, but its almost like organized chaos because everyone is doing it. I HATE driving in florida, especially the panama city area (where I live now). Not too bad in the winter except for the snowbirds that shouldnt legally be allowed to drive, but terrible in the summer. Stupid tourists driving for miles with a turn signal on because they have no idea where they are going. No offense to anyone on here, but people in the south simply have no clue how to drive compared to people in the midwest/northeast region.

Same thing happened to me. I was wide open doing about 110 down I-5, I was alone no one ever in sight. Suddenly a see a CHP fly up behind me, I move lanes over expecting the lights... and he just flew by. Still puzzles me to this day how I didn't get pulled over.
