Default S2000 Gauge Pillar Pod Cover

I need some help on Gauge Pillar Pod Cover. I really like the looks of the gauge pillars and wanna have it installed on my S but I know nothing about gauges other than what already comes with the car... I mean I have no turbo or supercharger. What other things can I use the gauges for? Battery? give me some suggestions. I wanna have both the looks and some actual purpose...

-water temp with real numbers (always nice to see how the progression of temp looks - I have this one)
-oil temp (if you run your car hard, this is a good one as the water temp might be too slow to pick up engine heat)
-oil pressure (always a good thing to know how your oil pump is working - I have this one too)
-volts (unless you have the Passport 8500, which has a voltmeter built in - it can tell you the health of your battery and charging system)
-amps (also a good indication of your electrical system and the draw that's on it - good if you have a lot of accessories to power)
-clock (if you don't have one in the radio)
-altimeter (just for fun)
-air/fuel (unless you're into constant tuning of your car or adding things that might change the A/F, this is just for fun too)
-tranny oil temp (more useful if you tow stuff or rallying or hill climbing)
-compass (do you get lost a lot?)

Hey buddy! You are helping me out even when I'm not asking the questions, it's sick! LOL

Question regarding what I quoted you on up here. I have the Passport Escort 8500 and where is this feature?

I don't have my Passport manual handy and it's been a while since I programmed this feature but it's in there. It's one of many programmable features accessed by a combination of "pushes" on two of the top buttons. Once programmed, as long as there are no alerts for a few seconds, the display reverts back to showing the car's system voltage. If you have a hard time finding your book, PM me and I'll go find the manual sometime tomorrow and get back to you. I'm about to head off to work in a few minutes.
