Someone keyed mine last summer down to the metal on the driver's door. I have no idea as to why. I hate people sometimes. I take comfort in the possible fact that the key-er is probably some fat redneck with a pickup truck. Owned.

Its keyed down to the metal.
Really sorry to hear this. If it is keyed clear down to the metal, and since you live in salt air, it might be a good idea to get it fixed before it starts to rust.

Freaken some sob keyed my car as well when I came out from eating. Lucky I have the clear bra that they keyed but still looks like a scratch. Bastards!

I'm sorry to hear that.

The people who key cars out of hate or jealousy are typically the same people who get envious of other people's possessions and toys. And while the rest of us work long and hard at our jobs to save up to be able to afford these toys and assets, those other people are blowing all of their money on drugs, alcohol, other bullshit, etc etc. They don't grasp the concept that if you truly want something, you have to work hard and discipline yourself to be frugal with your money. And because of this, they get jealous of other people's toys without comprehending what most of us have done and sacrificed to afford the S2000's, BMW's, Porsches, and Ferrari's.

Take solace in the fact that these people will get nowhere in life, and will probably have to live off welfare to survive another day.

Good luck with your insurance co and like someone already said, get that paint fixed before the rust kicks in.
