Keep mine in my holster. Smith and Wesson M&P 45 Compact in a Comptac CTAC IWB Holster. As for the AR, she stays in my laptop bag. 11.5" SBR

If I dont keep mine on me I will usually stick it in the secret compartment and lock the box if I am going to be leaving the car somewhere. Otherwise I'd really like to find a way to carry in the car and get it off my hip as the grip digs into my kidney while driving. Carrying 3-4 o'clock is more comfy but 4-5 o'clock conceals better for me. I have a s&w m&p9c and supertuck holster.

I saw an NRA spokeswoman on a TV debate program a few years ago.

Antigun activist:
If you always carry a gun, one day you will find an excuse to use it and you will wind up in court.
Spokeswoman:
Geez, I hope so. That will mean I lived to get to court.

I've always thought the front surface of the seat bottom would be a good place for a custom holster mount. A bracket could be attached to the metal seat pan and come up just under where your knees would be. It would only work for a small gun but it'd be out of sight, not slip under the seat and be accessible.

The steering column mount looks good if you have the space.

The really great thing is that in the 05 onwards with the new cupholder dividers, I think that you can neatly fit one grenade and a smoke bomb. Of course the passenger net pocket seems a great place for ninja stars, but stupid me cut up all my netting as a result.

Ii was thinking secret compartment, but then the Honda cd shuffle deck already lives there, though I did think of popping out the cartridge and using it to store me 9mm cartridges instead.

I usually carry a BDA .380 w/ Corbon+P 90GR's in the car.

Wifey likes the Beretta 950 .25

Probably not legal in most states but some models fit nicely in the door handle. It is good for the people with ccp that don't feel like having it on them while in the car.
