S2000+Guns
I carry a HK40 between the pass seat and center console. Fits like a glove!
"It's better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have one."
I guess i'm old fashioned but my ruger blackhawk in 45colt is always under my seat. My beretta is in my pocket when I get out if i'm in a bad part of the country. Auto's are great but you can't beat the i'm gonna F-*k you up look of a big wheel gun. Guaranteed to make any bad man think twice. God bless america
I have plenty of repect for my weapons sir, but i'd surely rather pull my weapon and diffuse the situation with the threat of force than have to actually use it. I have no intention of killing anyone, but if it comes down it the my ruger is dead accurate and I def. will not hesitate to use it.
If I had to pull my gun to defuse a situation with an unarmed person I'd just take the butt kicking and never let them know I had one. However, people have different views and you're is yours and in no way wrong. Just varying styles. I only reply to tell you that I was in no way saying you held a lack of respect for the power of a fire arm.
This is where my post for this subject ends unless a topic is opened in political forum. Back to guns in your car!

Will someone start one, or do I have to?
I find it interesting how Americans are generally OK with it, while foreigners (where it's not legal) aren't. You'd think if we disliked it that we would mostly be against it, right? Criminals will always have them regardless of the law, and those are the ones to worry about. Fact.

i live in SC and you have to have it in glove box or put away, but i work in NC and you have to have it in the open but as for my AR15 im wanting to make a fitted mold for the trunk lid so its there when i get to the range and i have the trunk for ammo and range bags
It is an interesting situation. If I lived in a country where the majority of people carried guns I guess I would carry one too. Fortunately I don't.
You can say criminals carry guns but that is a bit of a generalisation. Of course criminals in the US carry guns. Everybody does. In Australia you'd have to be a pretty serious criminal to even own a hand gun (10 years is the sentence for possessing a handgun). The vast majority of people you'd meet on the street (law abiding citizens and criminals alike) aren't carrying guns and as a result, gun related crimes are much less common.
I'm 43 years old and am not a stay at home kinda guy. I've been out and about and come across all sorts of people on the social scene. But I have not once seen someone (out of uniform) carrying a hand gun on the street and not once seen a gun related incident. I'd prefer it to stay that way.
