I know there are many posts on this subject and I have read many of them, I would like opinions on the exact car I want to get including price. It is a 2003 s2k with 157,000 miles on it, I would be the third owner. White exterior with creme interior both in good shape, soft top has been replaced recently. I know the owner and he does not beat it like other people would. He's willing to sell it to me for 7,000$ which i thought was decent, I work at a car dealership so i have the tools and resources to do repairs. I also have a beater I can drive if i need to do repairs. Please let me know what I should look for in the future for this car. Thanks

 

Can't know what to expect of this particular car without looking at it. Get it inspected, listen for noises, drive it and see if anything feels off. I've purchased many used performance cars and had a lot of success. Good luck!

 

Thanks for the response! Yes i will look over it, I have a good idea of what to look for, I will run an OBD test to make sure all monitors are set and no grinds or pops. The car is completely stock. I have a good feeling about it but well see.
