Just do a google search or look in rapidparts.com for Hella supetone electric horn. $59.95 and your S will sound like an M3 or better. It's the cheapest site I found so far. My S is garaged and today, I decided to look under the hood to see how hard is it to install. To my surprise, it does not look hard but I am just guessing. Since my car has been garaged for a month and its freakin cold in Chicago, I will probably start the project early Spring along with the front lip and the 02 dead pedals I just bought. Fellas, let me know if this is worth doing (timewise).

Or, go to your local NAPA auto parts store... It was an easy install and costs about $30!

Check out this link.

I didn't like seeing the horns from the front of the car so I placed mine where the red circles are...

I took the air guide off and installed a single "blaster" horn - supposed to be 138db - for sure is louder than the OEM horn and tons better "tone".

I HATE THAT AIR GUIDE! I was wishing I just took the bumper off! It was such a pain to get the air guide off and back on. My hands and wrists are too wide to fit in there good (and are now all chewed up). But it is done - sounds tons better. I broke the connector off the old horn and soldered a wire w/connector onto it. In a pinch, I could get another OEM horn and connect it right up since I made no changes to the car wiring/connector.

I put a new horn and "Silverstar" lights in my wife's car, the horn, wired in the RADAR detector, installed new door speakers, and replaced the OEM head unit with a MY2002 one today on the S2000. It was a long day working on stuff. If I had the harness from Lucid I probably would have installed the rear speakers today too - but that has not come in yet.

Major, I've ordered from Griot's Garage before and they have some good stuff. So they're hella loud? (sorry, had to )

What was the install like for those because it mentions a relay and so on. How long did it take and did it require moving things around?

Xviper, what size fuse did you end up using?

Thx

As long as it has a steering wheel who needs a horn?

More pics here

These are FIAMM electrostatic horns and plenty loud and immediate. I removed the stock horn and put a relay there. The wire to the stock horn triggers the relay and I have a think wire running direct from the battery (with an inline fuse). The horns come with a metal bracket that nicely attaches to the bolts on either side. Massive improvement.
