Ok, this is one instance where I am glad I'm over 30. My full coverage insurance premiums are $500 per year. I store it Dec to Mar and only carry comprehensive.

I was about to buy an rsx-s. Then i found a used s2k and the idea of buying one came into my head. So i had my parents talk to insurance and i too was surprised that it wasnt that much more. Im 17. I dont know exactly how much my insurance is because i dont pay it, but i do know that it was very close to that of the rsx-s, only 1 model year difference (insurance on 04 rsx-s and 03 s2k). I beieve the difference was around 100 every 6 months. 100 every 6 months is damn well worth it. The rsx forums gave a potential reason for this. rsx is the new integra and the integra was stolen more than the s2k. Also the average driver for the rsx is less experienced than the average driver of the s2k. I dont know if those are fact, just what ive read. Get the s2k, its worth it.

Well I'm going to talk to my manager about my discount. Then we'll see what the price is and I'll have to take one out for a spin.

I think insurance is the biggest scam ever. I think only you should be the factor in the increase of your insurance. Once they set it for a certain car it should remain there until you screw up and become a risk.

Yeah State Farm asked me if I was a student and asked if I was on Good Student discount. Cuts alittle off.
