s2000 insurance question??
Last year (24) I was paying 300/mo with Progress, then switched to Am Fam and payed about $200. Once I turned 25 it dropped to 180 with my Crx on the same policy. Las Vegas is one of the highest places for auto ins, but my record is clean.
Why don't you just get an insurance quote?
As you can see, there are a number of factors that affect an insurance premium. Everyone's situation is different and the only real way to tell how much insurance will cost you is to spend 3 minutes and get a quote.

I think mines in the $350 range for 6 months...27, clean record, multicar, and multi-policy discounts though...
I just got my s2000 used about a month ago and traded in a 1999 Prelude SH, and my insurance company refunded me $11 due to the change. Go figure.
A lot of the rate depends on where you live though. My rates in San Luis were a third of what they were in LA when I moved up here.

I'm insured with State Farm... and it's only $75/month for my S2000 even though I'm only 24...
State farm (as long as the S2000 is your SECOND vehicle) will not rate you as being "under 25" on the S2000 as long as another vehicle is your primary vehicle.
Right now I pay $120/month to insure my Saturn SUV.
Cant wait until I turn 25 next month

USAA is definitely the best that you can get.
The California Department of Insurance (CDI) site has a good cost comparison calculator:
http://www.insurance.ca.gov/docs/FS-PrivatePass.htm
Many of these companies also insure in your state.
