S2000 Insurance Rates
What are the best deals people are getting on insurance for their S2000's? I've been asked to pay $1557.00 per year as an unmarried male, 14-18 yrs. driving experience (33 years old), less than 7501 miles per year, multiple car discount, ABS discount, and good driver status. Also "pleasure use" is put down.
Anyone know if this is ridiculously high or about average or have any suggestions or other threads to direct me to about this topic?
Thanks,
desert tortoise

That is pretty high. I am 37 with a perfect driving record, every discount that my insurance company offers (other than the over-40 discount), and I am paying about ~$1100/yr. When we discussed this a few weeks ago, most guys on this board said that my premiums were too high.
From your nickname, I am assuming that you are in Arizona or somewhere close. Our premiums are so high because we are now the #1 worst place in the U.S. for stolen cars:

There is a pretty good online service to get auto insurance quotes at:

I am going to switch my insurance coverage in a few months to one of the companies that gave me a lower quote than I currently have.

Do you have any accidents or tickets? What insurance company? Sounds a little on the expensive side.
I am paying about $1050 per year for both my S2000 (full coverage) and Integra (just liability) through Nationwide. No accidents, no tickets, 100/300/100, $250 deductible, male age 27, ABS/airbag discount, multi car discount. The insurance agent gave my fiancee and I the married rate even though we are not yet married. We also have our house insurance through them.
