S2000 Insurance Rates
tought to answer that question because it really depends on what part of the country (or what country for those outside the US) you live in.
I have AAA for my car, house, etc. I carry the max. coverages on the car and have a $500 deductable. Based on 12K per year, my premium is $1250 (before dividend which is typically $150 - $250).
I am 28. I have been with AAA since getting my drivers license at 16. No accidents, no tickets, no nada.
My discounts are for good driver, ABS, airbags, garage, anti-theft device, carrying other AAA insurance.
Hope that helps.
By the way, the interesting thing is that my insurance is only $100 more per year than it was on a 1996 Miata and in fact, my premiums are quite a bit less than my fiance's on her new CRV

I was happy with my insurance premium last June: in UK, 750 pounds (about 1100 dollars) fully comprehensive for the year including my S2000, a Mercedes 190E and my wife's VW Polo.
Sorry, boys, now you know it is worth getting a bit older!
And I've only hit the rev-limiter twice, honest.
Don't believe all you hear about the UK being closed for business (i.e. blasting down country roads) due to various strange ailments. The roads here are just made for the S2000's acceleration, even if the max speed limit isn't!

Actually I'd love to see an RHD vehicle driving down the left side of the road. Sorry, no turn-abouts either.
Well sorry guys/gals,
But there is finally something related to the stook that's cheaper here in OZ !!
33 yrs old, living in the 'central business district' (read: highest risk), including windscreen and a bit of stereo (speakers/amp).
A$1000 per year, thats about US$500 these days.
Kinda (but not quite) makes up for the purchase price difference.

YIKES, where does everyone get there insurance so cheap. I live in Los Angeles(maybe that is my problem), I have one ticket on my license and I pay close to $2000 a year this is with $1000 deductables on both my collision and comprehensive.
