Actually, my dad's '93 Accord EX had 140 bhp and 142 ft-lbs torque and my mom's '99 Accord LX has 150 bhp and 152 ft-lbs torque so Honda had some cars with greater torque than horsepower (albeit that by much).

I've broached the subject of stuffing a Chevy small block into my wifes new baby but at the moment she is having none of it. I'll keep at her though, I know she will crack in in time.

If you want a big V8 roadster and with a lot of Torque and HP then wait couple months and get a new Cadillac roadster XLR http://www.cadillac.com/cadillacjsp/future...erformance.html Thats one good looking roadster just take a look at it instead of being closed in your Honda world. OPEN YOUR EYES.

@ Norbi...

I am not a Honda fanatic to tell you...I just drive the car which suits me best!

We don't want the cadillac because:

it doesn't look as good
it doesn't handle as well
isn't really fast even it has power
it dies @ 9300

I want to just to make one point here, Honda is not the only car company that exists and there are other cars that are better but people dont try them and say that are bad. I know that honda makes good cars but look at the american cars they make good cars too maybe except for Ford but Gm makes pretty good and reliable cars. I know a lot of people that say Honda and Acura are the BEST and thats not true. Just dont get stuck in just HONDA world and open your eyes and see other cars manufacturers. AMerican cars make the best v8s and v6 engines maybe not 4 bangers but muscule and sport cars american are the best.

Sorry guys for that. I only got little aggrivated when we get those people that come to our message board and talk $%*! about our cars and their civics and integras are faster and better, but those are young high school students that never drove other cars and are bashing other cars without even ever driving them. See what you said i really respect that you tried other cars and made a decision to buy Honda i got nothing against that but some people from this message board came to our and started talking BS about ours and they never even drove them. Sorry again. Good luck
