I do love my "S"
but thing is....I don't have winter car right now.
I always worry about winter that is the most problem...
(Please don't say just get some cheap winter car)

Just drive the S2000 in winter. Its only a car. About the only cars I wouldn't drive in the winter:

Ferrari of any variety
Acura NSX
etc...

I *would* drive a 911 in winter tho, haha.

 

the m3 is not worth the price, i would rather get a z06 for that price. the m3 is nice, but nothing to talk about. id choose the s2k anyday over the m3, even if i could afford the m3.

If you mean for an overall car NOT including price, M3, although the M3 IMO is a 40K$ car with a 10 or 15K$ dollar emblem, not sure exactly how much they go for new, but I think the S gets just as many looks and can be almost as fast with a SC. I'm sure the M3 is better in the features and stereo sound etc, but its not worth the extra butt load of cash, plus the convertible M3s are just funny looking IMO and you have to have a convertible in SoCal IMO. I'll take the S.

 

I would trade the S2000 for a M3 of the M3 had the S2000s shifter and short throws...... Long throws

If you do trade, sell the S privately or the BMW dealer will give you squat for the S.

If I had the money a E46 ///M3 SMG would be mine and the S long gone.
