I had no idea so many models existed. So far, I only have the Maisto and Ebbro models. I've been waiting for the 04's too, but the 00-03's look just as sweet.

Great site! Thanks for posting. My collection is up to 71 models and I can see a couple more possibilities after seeing that site.

You should see the display cases he uses to show them off. Covers two walls, floor to ceiling, nothing but glass, wood, and S2000s

Finally got my hondamobilia site replicated to a more scalable server...

If you're into collecting S2000 models, take a look:

Where can you buy these models?

You can buy a lot of these on eBay. Just enter a search for S2000 and click on diecast toys. Here, I'll do a search for you...

I collect diecast cars, mostly 1:18 scale (I'm up to about 120 last I checked) and can tell you that the AutoArt versions are by far the best. Maisto's are okay but if you look closely you will see the convertible top switch and hazard button are reversed, the start button is on the right hand side of the dash, the windshield wipers are pointed the wrong way and the engine compartment is reversed with the battery where the brake/clutch cylinders are and vice-versa. Maisto's paint jobs are not as well done either and the under carriage is generic.

Yah, right from the get-go, Auto Art has been the best model (1/18th scale). Generally sells for around $50 but it can be found for less. The limited edition Auto Art, which is serial #'d, etc. is your best bet and it was selling for less than the standard (go figure).

In the 1/24 scale, I don't think you can beat the Ebbro Premium Collection though. Here are some pictures from their web-site:
