I think it's all location dependant. I might get a once or twice a year from someone who appreciates cars, but most of the time it's mid-westerners pulling up in their Suburbans asking what kind of car it is.

I like the car - makes no difference to me what anyone else thinks....with our cars, too much attention is not necessarily a good thing!

 

word.. lol it definitely depends on where you live

my area is kind of mixed so you will see many people checking out the S , but at the same time there is always a few ferraris, vipers ,elise's etc.. running around that will get more praise

 

Here in Moreno Valley, I get a lot of attention for my S. That's because the only other "exotic looking" car here is a black Cadillac XLR that some black chick drives. There are a few S2Ks here, but for some reason, a lot of people always react in a "OMG!-Look-at-that-car!" way whenever they see my Stacey.
Once when I drove to my bro's school to pick him up, some kids began yelling, "Nice car!" and a few students, including several campus supervisors, began taking pics of it with their cell phones.
